Chelsea Lankes

I believe that grace and love go hand in hand, one cannot exist without the other.

I believe that we all could use a little more of both.

I think that I could live off of bananas if I had to, preferably paired with peanut butter. And bread.

I'll never be exactly where I want to be, but I'll always try to get closer.

If it's a choice between letting go or holding on, let go.

Dance movies and emoticons are my love language.

I think that e.e. cummings is the most compelling poet.

I love Nashville. It's home.

I have the most wonderful, talented, creative, and inspiring friends.

I was told to find what I am passionate about doing, and to do it- without an agenda.

I believe that we should be intentional about how we love.

I am a believer.

I am a writer.

I always double-knot my shoe laces.

Patty Griffin's "Rain" changed the way I heard music.

The first song I wrote was called "New Day" in 2001. (It was not good)

I think I've gotten better since then......

I believe music can spark a change. It connects and engages our hearts unlike anything else.

I desperately want change in our culture, we are bankrupt in so many ways. I constantly try to be a part of that change.

I am hopeful.

I hope that I will always love to create music.

I hope I will always remember that music is a gift.

In music- the sum is always greater than the parts, and that alone is evidence that there is more to this life.

I hope that when you hear one of my songs, you can relate. That it makes you feel a little more alive.

And before I forget, my name is Chelsea and I'd love play you a few songs. :)
